BREAKING TRAUMA, REBUILDING EMOTIONS
Sexual Assault Survivor Forum

This forum is intended to foster emotionally aware, trauma-informed dialogue—creating a safe space for survivors to reflect on the lasting impact of sexual violence, dismantle harmful stigmas, and support each other in the healing process. Key topics will include survivor identity, emotional suppression, and trauma-related disconnection, with a focus on building empathy and mutual understanding. We will be bringing together victims from both inside and outside.
We also plan to film parts of the forum and create a short documentary centered on the idea that healing begins with the courage to admit what has been endured—often the hardest step of all. Our hope is that this project can extend the forum’s message far beyond the room.
